244 immigrants arrested in four-day sweep across Southern California

Quote:
But last year a federal judge found that practice illegal, prompting hundreds of counties to stop honoring the detainer requests. As a result, ICE officials say they have to rely on costly and dangerous manhunts or multiday sweeps like the one conducted last week.
The Federal judges from the 3rd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals should be disbarred and arrested for treason, having chosen their ideology over U.S. law. Illegal immigrants are not here under the law (see 14th amendment) and thus should have no protection under our Constitution.

I've got to defend them (even for work done silently for years and years). Most of what they do never makes the news (and should not, because it's relatively secret).

There are a steady stream of dangerous felon / fugitive illegals constantly being deported, and in many cases, delivered with special care to law enforcement in their native lands - sorry dude, no Miranda Rights once you step off the jetway.

I am glad to see them doing their job in spite of the the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit ruling that immigration detainers are simply requests made by the feds to local municipalities.

That's right...no Miranda Rights once you step on our soil!

That has nothing to do with the focus of this thread.

What exactly is the focus of this thread? It surely can't be some headline about 244 immigrant arrests because that is a tiny percentage of the in 315,943 ICE removals in 2014. So..it must be a rant about the appellate court decision, which is neither unlawful or treasonous, you would do well to climb off the soapbox and read the case decision which in part states: "the court found, requiring local officials to hold suspects on federal immigration violations would violate constitutionally protected states’ rights. To further drive the point home, the three-judge panel added that “no U.S. Court of Appeals has ever described ICE detainers as anything but requests.” Secondly, the ruling says, “no provisions of the Immigration and Nationality Act authorize federal officials to command local or state officials to detain suspected aliens subject to removal.”
Funny how conservatives are all in favor of state's rights....until they are against them

And everything to do with a Bay Area, anti-sovereignty mindset of never having met an illegal you didn't want to hug.

Those are different issues, one does not have to approve of illegal immigration to support the decision by the appellate court which upheld states rights,
