I have now dealt with all three by working with customers from all three areas.

My input on all three:

NorCal/Central Coast
-more social issue conscious. Found NorCal people more willing to start conversations, offer advice, and the customers I had tended to give me a tip.
-more environmentally conscious. Tend to drive more fuel efficient cars or use alternative methods to work.

San Joaquin Valley
-tend to be cheap. Trying to get the best deal out of you. Sense of entitlement.
-not as outgoing. people shut in their houses

SoCal
-tend to be cheap. Trying to get the best deal out of you. always busy and pre-occupied. May be a cause of the environment (post road rage). Ironically the highest earners like movie directors, ceos, and movie stars were more understanding
-not as outgoing. people shut in their house

My theory is places like NY which has more of a true urban environments people learned to get along and cope with close quarters where as sprawled out areas people tended to lose connection with people.
