Tahoe Donner might be expensive for you, Donner Lake is usually cheaper. Call the real estate companies or check the classifieds in the sierrasun.com

Good luck, my what will you do for Boreal? My daughter teaches skiing there

thanks for your reply!
I'm going to be working in HR... As i won't have a car/license (i'm from england) Boreal have said to look in Tahoe Donner as thats where there employee shuttle will go... But most the accomodation advertised seems to be in truckee/donner lake... I'm hoping it will be easier to find something once i arrive next week.

Good Luck,, nice that Boreal has a shuttle these days,, Many years ago I was an instructor there and we hitchhiked from Truckee every morning. My last job there was night ski patrol director. That was fairly entertaining, peeling drunk factory workers from Sacramento off trees and towers..

I think you get a pass for Alpine Meadows also,, that is a fine place to ski.

Thanks!!! You don't happen to know of any real estate agencies that offer properties to rent/rooms to rent by any chance? So far i've just found ones that are selling property... I'm finding this accomodation search thing from overseas a nightmare!

Btw your right i think i do get a pass for alpine meadows too as its part of the same group... I can't ski yet so will be starting off at Boreal!!!

Thanks

Most of the companies in Truckee do rental management. You are going to want to be a flat mate, I should imagine.
Try this company; http://www.vpmrentals.com/ (broken link)

and this: http://classifieds.sierrasun.com/?pub=61&class=re_rent

If you need to log in go to ; http://www.sierrasun.com and log in.

Default Rooms

You should check on craigslist, under the Reno/Tahoe section & shared rentals... reno.craigslist.org/roo/
Most of them are in Reno, but some are in the Tahoe-Donner areas!
