Holy Cow. Is this all part of Jerry Browns tax hikes? ( not being political, just a factual question)

The last time reg fees were changed it led to the Davis recall...

The first act of Arnold was to repeal.

California has become very aggressive regarding automobiles... you are required to pay a fee NOT to use your vehicle... it is called a Non-Op fee...

At one time I had 23 registered vehicles... now it is 5... I paid the non-op fee on the 18 so raising the fee has actually saved me money because I simply no longer keep them current...
