When I see a California license plate I am reminded of California's beautiful nature, including our gorgeous coastline, awe-inspiring redwoods soaring to the sky, of Golden Gate Park, Yosemite Park, beaches.

Overall, California is the most beautiful state, with the most diverse landscapes.

There's any number of cars with CA plates in Las Vegas, 34% of those moving here are from CA.

I once had a roommate who lived here for 10 years and still had his CA plates. Every year, to avoid the high registration costs in NV, he drove down to Needles to get his license renewed. Any number of others do likewise.

I preferred the older CA plates, black and gold numbers. Not the white ones.

They're back, but you have to pay extra for them. It doesn't seem to matter - I see a lot of them around now. I guess people are so desperate for a different plate after 20+ years they will.

I got the plate with the palm trees and beach. I never thought I would live somewhere so gorgeous and those plates represent my California dream.
