California's government started the Dust Bowl — and Trump might save it

Between Silicon Valley and Hollywood lays California's Central Valley, the oft-ignored and most fruitful base of agriculture in the country. For years, farmers along Interstate 5 have staked poster signs outside of blackened fields, proclaiming, "CONGRESS STARTED THE DUST BOWL." This week, President Trump may have saved it.

Hopefully Trump can bring some common sense to California's state government.
California definitely needs new water infrastructure in addition to removing some of the more idiotic rules promoted by environmentalists.

In March 2014, the California Department of Fish and Wildlife counted 88 fish in a survey. One year later, that number was down to six.

"Hopefully Trump can bring some common sense to California's state government.".....using those 3 words in the same sentence is so wrong.

We need agricultural workers, not a wall.

While we're at it, if some of the government-dependent taker states like Texas and Indiana could take back their vagrant druggie relatives and children that they've dumped on us--that actually do lower the QOL here in CA--that would be great too.

It's november pre-election B.S.

Wait until AFTER the election, and see what actually happens. My guess is 'nothing' .

Let's see if Trump can then figure out where they'll get their field hands, after sending all of the immigrants back to Mexico. They might have water, but who is going to pick the crops? Eh?

The high school students? Yeah, right. Do you know anyone who is willing to work in blazing sun, bent over all day picking tomatoes for less than minimum wage?

But, hey, maybe the crops will be watered. I guess that might be enough? Hmmm, might actually want to pick them to sell them, though, huh?
