Hello everyone,
My name is Emil and I am a 28yo man from Israel that is seeking to move to the US and especially California. As many great stories it is a story about love.

My life has not been treating me well but I never gave up. I did 3 years army service in the IDF. I currently finishing my studies in web development although I really have almost no experience. I always wanted to make my own music once I'll be settled.

I have joined this forum on a desperate attempt that perhaps I might find a good soul that is willing to help me and hire me for anything. I don't have much job experience but I tend to understand things quickly and adapt and then to Excel in what I do. Nevertheless the person who would make this dream come true, I would owe him so much that I will always do my best to be the best employee that he could have had. To always give him the idea that he indeed bet on the right hold

I have checked and I am eligible to move to the US and I am willing to relocate. I even would work at a very low salary at whatever you have to offer, as long as I can get money for rent and food and some savings for me and the woman I love in which I want to unite with.

It could be such a great opportunity for growth for me. To get out of my comfort zone, go to another state, another continent, and be all on my own, but I know that I will meet good people on my path that will help me make this dream come true.

I didn't know where else to go. I have tried to find relocation jobs in California but they are all demanding bombastic titles and years of experience, and I have none of that.

I really hope to find someone here that can make this dream come true!!!

Thank you everyone

Maybe get in touch with the Chabad center in Palo Alto? Lots of Jewish professionals here in Silicon Valley are members, and network through each other... so it wouldn’t hurt to reach out, and see if they can offer any suggestions or connections!

Maybe someone here in the forum could hire me for whatever he needs help with? And i will show dedication and excellence if someone is willing to help me.

I cannot be associated with Chabad community as i am not Jewish and they do not help non-jews from what i know.

No one is going to hire you while you're still in Israel. Look for work once you're here. Unless your "love" will be paying for rent and food, try to bring about $10,000 USD.

This isn't how it's done, OP. Though gizmo gave you a brilliant and very practical suggestion. I suggest you exercise that option. The other thing you can do, is look at job listings at tech companies. But you'd be more marketable, if you took some time to job experience at home. One year, say.

No one is going to magically offer you a job, from an internet forum. Though gizmo offered you the closest thing possible, to a job offer. Forget City-Data. Check out Chabad House.

Also, could you clarify, please; did you win a visa in the lottery? What do you mean, you've "checked", and you're "eligible" to move to the US?

Don't American tech firms recruit in Israel? They do in Russia. I would think they would in your country.

Im not recommend you to move. If your really good guy --- you will reach goals and have good life in your country. Many migrants think that America is paradise. It's a lie. You will live in the butt many years before government give you
citizenship and privileges
