Everybody and every government needs money to operate. But the pits of California is way over the top. I guess Ca needs to rip off it's working people to pay for all that welfare's and illegals.

No text tax. The CPUC decided not to fight the FCC's ruling that texting is an information service, therefore not subject to state taxation without FCC approval.

California abandons plan to tax text messages

Thankful for the FCC stepping up to squash this moronic Carla J. Peterman tax scheme.

Can’t wait to leave this state! It’s easier to raise taxes than balance a budget.

we got out out of California about a month after I retired. They can have it.
