Sorry if the questions sounds shallow, and a part 2:

Where do the attractive people who leave California go to? My friends that have left California have always stated that the girls where they live are more attractive than back in the Bay Area where we lived. As I understand, people are leaving California due to cost of living. Maybe its a stereotype, but California is supposed to have the most attractive residents.

Are the attractive residents moving out? Where are they going? Where are they still at in California? They sure aren't in the Bay Area.

Your question doesn't sound shallow. It is shallow.

Good grief

Beauty's in the eye of the beholder, you know.

I find women in the Bay Area and Sacramento too feminine and high maintenance, and I'm from Southern California.

I think Orange County women are also pretty feminine and high maintenance, but not to the extent of the Bay Area. Give Orange County a try. You might find very attractive women, like one of my female friends. She's straight, not butch at all, and even has long hair. She never wears makeup or jewelry, doesn't style her hair, and wears unisex clothes most of the time (T-shirt and hoodie, baggy jeans, etc.) But she looks stunning in a dress. Not chubby at all, round face, long neck, and great facial features. Gets along great with guys, has lots of guy friends, is a computer science geek.

Speaking for myself, as California’s most attractive senior ... I travel the west coast a lot, but always return home to California ... so far.

This is funny, because the Bay Area generally has been known for women who were down-to-earth, outdoorsy, and fairly WYSIWYG. Though there were always pockets of more frilly types. But I can't speak to the issue of transplants from elsewhere; that must be who you've mainly encountered.

This is even funnier, because you're assuming the OP is interested in make-up free women who don't style their hair and wear baggy, unisex clothes most of the time. You're projecting a lot onto an OP who's fixated on "attractive" women. For most men, baggy unisex clothes and no makeup =/= "attractive", except maybe for the few women who are great natural beauties. You should see the guys rant on the Seattle forum, about supposedly a city full of women in baggy unisex clothes and no makeup! Come to think of it, maybe you'd be happier in Seattle?

You sure there are women in Seattle at all? Maybe those are all men in baggy unisex clothes ...

... and no makeup.

In any case, they beat the average WalMart shopper.

I don’t think my question is shallow. Such things are important for many 25 year olds.

No wonder some of the guys on the forum are so cranky; they're mistaking men in baggy clothes for women! Somehow, they're missing the women in the short skirts or yoga pants.
