Hi,

My husband and I are moving to Irvine for job opportunities but cannot visit before (we have been there before). We will be relocating mid-July with two large mutt dogs. I'm finding it difficult to find somewhere to live over the internet because people have to trust that you will show up. I don't know if we'll be able to live in some fancy apartment either because lots of them require meet-and-greets with the dogs.

Any suggestions on where or who to rent through?

Our must-haves/wants are an enclosed patio/yard, parking, one bedroom. Max we will spend is 2,500k a month. Could be near Irvine as well but don't want a long commute.

Thanks

It will be hard to find a place with an enclosed patio/yard with that budget, unless you share a home.

Try Villa Solana in Laguna Hills. I think the pet policy there is pretty open, and the only prohibited breeds are pit bulls and dogs mixed with coyotes or wolves.

BTW, if you ever need a doggie day camp, or overnight boarding, I'd suggest PetSmart in Aliso Viejo. I've been taking my dogs there for years.

$2500 is low for a 2 bedroom apartment, forget about a house. Two large dogs in an apartment?

Never happen.
