I tried contacting the forum administrator before posting this, but no response yet. Feel free to delete this post if not appropriate. I am moving to California for work, and I absolutely know no one there. I have tried Facebook, craigslist and websites like roomster which appear to be a scam or filed with fake ads. I even tried speaking with leasing managers of various apartments to see if they can check with any tenants looking to split rent to share an apartment.

Hopefully I can find someone here that is looking for a 2bed/2bath to rent together. I found several apartments in Laguna Niguel called Apex and Broadstone Cavora. If anyone is interested in sharing a 2bed/2bath apartment, let me know

Thank you so much

Those are both nicer, newer complexes right along he 5 fwy at Crown Valley Pkwy. They are on the other side of the freeway from the Kaleidascope outdoor shopping area and The Shops At Mission Viejo indoor mall.

I'm not certain where you would look for roomies, I would'a thought CL, but you apparently tried that already. The alternative is to rent a place yourself, then advertise for your own roommate.

Thank you, well I created an ad on Facebook saying I found a place. No one is messaging me at all. I really hope I can find someone on here

I have a stable career with the government with automatic promotion. First year will be alittle difficult, starting at 49k. I wont be able to qualify on my own. The funny thing these apartments are advertising COVID-19 special deals. Sounds like someone is getting tax break, even those raising the rent price.

Stick with Craigslist. You'll find someone. But you'll need to learn how to separate the BS from the real applicants. If anyone asks for money, just delete them.
