Strongly thinking of leaving CA due to the fires, highest taxes in the land, mediocre dry land, prevalent poverty throughout the state, illegal aliens, 3 hour traffic at midnight, etc.

Long story short, the West Coast used to be the best coast. But now, East Coast is the best coast.

There is nothing on the West Coast that can match Maine to Florida. The East has the depth, something the west lacks.

The West Coast is empty outside of the LA-SF strip. The East is fully developed. You cannot compare 15 states to 3 states. Do not let California's blue skies fool you. The East is the King of the USA, not the west.

This coming from a Pakistani Muslim American.

Where will you move to? What zip code do you live in now?

Well, the huge amounts of land preserved as national forests, national parks, state and regional parks, has always been one of the West's attractive qualities. "Empty" of sprawl and glitz is a good thing.

We have eagles.

If people want to leave CA just leave please. I don’t understand why people that have left or are planning on leaving have to incessantly keep talking about it on this forum.

Probably because they will always get a response.
If no one responded it would just get buried quickly and die off.

I appreciate the opinion. I might or might not agree, but free exchange of ideas is a good thing.

Leaving California is stupid without checking Riverside, CA's home prices first, and then compare to Las Vegas, NV. Not as incredibly high as you think it is.
