Hi, I really need some help since my 1-2 hours of web searching has been fruitless. We're looking for a preschool/pre-K for my 4 year old son for this fall in the Santa Ynez Valley area. I prefer non-denominational but would love to hear good things about any school in the area. Not looking for daycare, just perhaps 2 mornings a week. My son will probably be attending Oak Valley Elementary in Buellton in 2009, so a preschool that serves that school would be really great.

While we are at it, if you can suggest great activities for kids in the area I am all ears.

Many thanks.

Hi I was wondering if you ever found a good preschool in the area. My family and I are moving soon from Connecticut to Buellton and I am looking for a good preschool for about 2 days a week. NOT a daycare, and preferably one that works with the Oak Valley Elementary School.

Jaime is this you, it's your neighbor Chris! Funny to see you post here. We sent our boy to Santa Ynez Valley Presbyterian Preschool and liked it a lot. Have a good weekend.

Chris! Hi! Too funny! I totally forgot I posted on here several months ago! I actually am still waiting to hear back from Zaca, as she's not potty trained yet and still needs physical therapy help. But their waiting list is SO long. I accidentally walked into the SYV Presbyterian preschool one day and it seemed like a really neat set up! If I can get her to actually use the potty, I will definitely look into that preschool. Thanks!
And thank you Charles, I will look into greatschools as well
