The humble, swiveling USB flash drive is the inspiration behind what is set to become the latest innovation in camping-trailer design. At the push of a button, the center section of the lightweight, composite-bodied Romotow camper, rotates outwards 90 degrees, creating its own built-in outdoor patio.

When you are camped in the woods, simple is a huge asset.

I would not want to be in this on a windy day.

I don't get it. You are camping, why would you need an outdoor patio?

If you are camping, why do you need a trailer?

Experience has taught us that in a trailer you sleep on a real bed, cook on a real stove, stay dry when it is pouring rain and when you get up during the night, the bathroom is right there. When it is nice out you can sit under the awning and commune with the critters. If you travel with friends there are pleasant evenings around the campfire.

Only $350,000. For less than $20k I have a nice trailer with a 15 ft awning. Set up a couple of folding camp chairs and I'm still over $330,000 ahead and have just as nice a view.
