I am a dual Citizen, I was born In Los Angeles to Canadian parents, My wife was born in Los Angeles to a Canadian father and American Mother. We both lost our citizenship due to prior rules such as not being domiciled in Canada on our 24th birthday. Thanks to Bill c37, Our citizenship was restored to our date of birth. We are waiting for our Certificates of Canadian Citizenship and then we will apply for our Passports and Sin Cards. I have travelled through Canada extensively and even though I grew up in California, called silverware cutlery and have used the term serviette for napkin. I also am guilty of using eh. I am very proud to be a Canadian and Canada day this year meant alot more to me.
I'm a Canadian married to an American and living in Idaho (Boise). I have U.S citizenship by naturalization. I've been told many times that I sound like someone from either North Dakota, Minnesota or Wisconsin..lol.
I spent my teenage years in the US, six of which was in Houston so I like to consider myself Canadian-Texan.
