I haven't been to every province but I have a huge soft spot for Saskatchewan. It's the landscape of my heart (the East End area) even though I don't live there (yet).

I was born and raised there.
It will always have a soft spot in my heart as well, but I would never move back. Sure it's got the economy (finally!) but the weather and to a lesser extent the culture ruin it for me.

In Sask or in East End specifically? Since I'm in Manitoba, Sask weather can't scare me and since I already live in a conservative area, I don't know if that could scare me either. I think I remember reading a few years ago that either Regina specifically or Saskatchewan generally, had the most writers per capita.

We found ourselves in Robsart on our way to East End one time. Had no idea it was a ghost town.

No, Saskatoon boy myself. It was alright but yeah compared to cities around the world, they sure seem to have a fist up their you-know-where...
