Then again a lot of Canadians need to drive up to Simcoe and see what is sitting in 90% of driveways. Gasp. it's the god-awful pickups...

leftists like Jambo make me laugh sometimes.
I'd bet 99% of those American Pickup and SUV drivers arent hunters or fisher folk and dont drag around trailers, the large vehicles are just used as single occupant daily drivers. Which is fine by me as they got to fill up those large vehicles and pay the gas tax that goes along with it.My point was dont whine about gas prices while you are driving a vehicle that gets 15mpg.
Righties give me a chuckle sometimes especially those nutty teabagger types mostly to the south of us here in Canada...

I'll bet 99% of those pickup drivers aren't either - and I live on a farm in a rural area where there are people who do need pickups. The ones who need pickups are generally driving the older ones, with chips in the windshields and barely legal. Most people who need pickups and the like for their work can't afford the big-ass pickups and SUVs.

Stating the obvious about gas prices and the impact on the environment shouldn't automatically lead to accusations of someone being a "lefty" or a "righty."

Personally I'm hoping horses make a comeback as a means of transportation.
