I'll bet 99% of those pickup drivers aren't either - and I live on a farm in a rural area where there are people who
do need pickups. The ones who need pickups are generally driving the older ones, with chips in the windshields and barely legal. Most people who need pickups and the like for their work can't afford the big-ass pickups and SUVs.
Stating the obvious about gas prices and the impact on the environment shouldn't automatically lead to accusations of someone being a "lefty" or a "righty."
Personally I'm hoping horses make a comeback as a means of transportation.
