Have done a lot of research on Canada and found them to be on nearly every single list 'Richest Country list', 'Wealthiest country list', 'Safest country list', 'Lowest crime list', 'Best places to start business' 'happiest country list'.
We have to be talking numbers though, can it pull in over 10k occupants in a single Nightclub? Which of these has the most potential and is nicest out of the trio? Breakdown the good the bad and the ugly of Vancouver, Ottowa and Calgary
All good, but 10k in a single nightclub? That's a tall order even for a one off summer festival. None of these cities, or Stockholm your other option you were talking about, has that demand when you take into account the other entertainment options. You could make an awesome nightclub in one of these small cities but you could at best be looking at 5k in a single club. If you want 10k there's only a very few world cities to look at, the LAs', Tokyos' and possibly Torontos' a of the world (even in Toronto that's a tough feat). If you're not willing to navigate the competition and cirme of a big city, you might have to settle for 5k.
And as I said earlier, Calgary is my vote to. It's a smaller city but it's rich and, most importantly, you don't have the competition from other clubs at that level, so you have the best chance of making your dream happen there. Also because it's young, not as much organized crime as Vancouver, Toronto and Montreal (which are not that bad for it, let's be honest).
Calgary currently. Although before the property bubble in van started and before government jobs started being cut in ottawa, it was at the bottom of the 3.
A very unique lifestyle in which to be accepted you must do things the Swedish way. Certain lifestyle choices are frowned upon while being sexually liberated is not.
If I did compare a place in Europe it would be Stockholm (Sweden) vs Calgary (Canada).

10K during Stampede is a no brainer. Of course you can use those 10 days to operate for the entire rest of the year for free.
Ottawa is on top of my list as well. And it is only a few hours away from Montreal, Toronto and 8 hours from NYC.
Why didn't anyone tell me Calgarians were conservative in their views.
