You definitely need a new schtick, momzie.

I made the mistake of going into the P&OC section of the forum one time. Never again.

Oh, come on. It's funny!

"Let's train and arm kindergartners." How does anybody take that seriously? It made me laugh, anyway.

Sheboygan actually gets a pass for the LGBT contingent...

Why would that be.. Actually, no need to explain because we both know you are playing into a stereotype that gays are more likely to be pedophiles than straights. However if that is not the reason by all means clarify. If I am incorrect i'll happily apologize! Otherwise the comment was an insensitive, ignorant and disgusting. All at the same time. I suggest you read more and type less!

I guess my comment would fall under the "T" in LGBT, but thanks for showing us how your mind works.

So let me get this straight - pardon the pun... You are saying your comment would fall in the "T" in LGBT. T as in Trans? So explain to me how your mind is working here because you're losing me - are you inferring that members of the Trans community are more apt to being a pedophile? How my mind works is really irrelevant in this case. I'm not the one who is potentially applying inaccurate stereotypes to communities here. I think that'd be you!

omg is that one of the topics now

Honestly it is the busy nature of the forum in there. It is hard to engage in a meaningful discussion. Too busy and too much noise. I prefer the more intimate nature of the discussions in the Canada forums.

I'm a word girl so, zortation, can you let me explain this?

fusion2, I don't think it had anything to do with you being gay. It's a "trans" thing because "Sheboygan" ... has "she" and "boy" as the first two syllables. "she" to "boy" = trans.

Dawn - you're a superstar lol.. I got it now, that flew over my head. It is sunday and I have had a lazy day and no coffee yet - better make some. Plus we all have our moments..

Zortation could have clarified but he doesn't like me
Also, if he had said trans community there would have been no doubt. That said let me say and particularly in the case of Transgenders, often they are actually very torn and feel they have been born a different sex than the one they identify with. It is actually a tragic and painful situation for many of them. Anyway, just a topic I tend to tread lightly with given the complexity of their situation as with all minority groups who have had to struggle over the years to push for equality. So yeah, sensitivity is an apt word.
