Let's hope we're both resilient enough to survive one Trump.

Nice. He's going for the trifecta or a hat-trick.

Isn't the problem that Trump is renegotiating Nafta without Congress's approval?

No...read the Constitution.

The President negotiates foreign treaties and Congress has to approve by a 2/3 thirds majority. The negotiations come first and the approval comes second.

Of course, if your Obama you just negotiate treaties and do not submit them to Congress for approval.

This is one good reason for America to always have a supply of immigrants. Americans need the help of immigrants to explain the Constitution to native born Americans.

Is it that bad in Canada where the native-born don't have a clue??

I'll keep going back for visits but the folks need to grow up and away from the government talk. It isn't your mommy.
That is why I left Canada. As a 23 year old I did NOT need a country telling me what was "acceptable". I still remember the Dean of the Graduate School at UBC telling us to shut up and graduate. I just left.

However, I can credit Canada with protecting the jobs of working class Canadians. This might have to do more with protecting a resource based economy that has lots of blue-collar jobs, than values.

The Elites in the US traded US blue-collar jobs for possible foreign policy gains with China. That didn't work out so well.

That is why Trump is trying to right the ship.....and Canada trade is just part of that process.

Each day shows yet another Trump ballast pump failure. That ship is sinking bub. Better grab your Mae West and head for Cuba.

The U.S. is sinking on the scale of measurable freedoms faster than a submarine with a screen door. No doubt your superior Canadian education served you well when you jumped ship. Good thing you got that education before you left Canada as you'd still be paying for it if you hadn't.

You've definitely chosen badly grasshopper if you don't like being controlled. Take a knee or raise a finger to Trump's motorcade then get back to us.

And that will probably reflect itself when future studies are done....if it continues and is verifiable.

EDIT***** Well that's strange. Responded to the quote shown but that post has now disappeared.
