But too bad it wasn't a bigger fine.

Cunningham said the incident was "out of character" for the couple, and that they had never been before the courts. She said the Bakers had faced heavy consequences already, through online shaming. She also referred to a $5,000 charitable donation the Bakers made to a charity that works to ensure global access to COVID-19 vaccines.
Lame.

Maxime Bernier whines to Tucker Carlson at Fox News about being arrested in Manitoba. He falsely claims he was arrested for speaking and likens Canada to China. In fact, he was arrested for exceeding public gathering limits and violating the requirement to self-isolate upon entering the province. Carlson describes Bernier as “one of the most prominent political figures in Canada.” *snort* No mention either that Bernier used to belong to the same political party as the Manitoba premier.

Gee; is Tucker actually using his best; "uh, oh; was that a wet fart" look in support of anything this idiot has to say.

Never has there been a rising star in Canadian politics so quickly reach their apogee and start their descent in such a spectacular fashion. Maxine can't seem to keep his inner child from running around the room trashing the figurine collection.

This clown has squandered every opportunity presented. He's now become akin to a barrel of old PCB oil. Nobody want's it in their yard.

Hopefully he will fade away soon.

Maybe open up a roadside poutine cart in the far north of Quebec.

It was, as were their lame excuses. Trying to use the privilege of their wealth to run roughshod over the poor and marginalized and take what belonged to them, and then turning around to say "but hey, we made a DONATION to the indigenous people--look how nice we are!"

They should have been sentenced to live under the same conditions and at the same income level as the people from whom they tried to steal for at least one year.

That they even thought between the two of them that this was OK to do makes me wanna slap them upside the head, HARD. Sorry, I'm trying to learn how to be more Canadian, but sometimes the Jersey comes out.

Yeah hopefully. I thought he had already faded away after the last election. His party was pretty much destroyed.....then he started popping up at all these weirdo antimask protest and "freedom rallies". LOL
