This is located in Syracuse NY, for those not familiar with the shopping center. It is the biggest in NY State and the 8th biggest in the US. 22% of shoppers pre pandemic came from Canada, which is only 100 miles away from the shopping center. Has anyone heard of more specific information in terms of the border opening?

Syracuse is only an hour further south, if that. So, this may be something to consider.

Salmon Run and the shops along Arsenal Street have increased in recent years, but Watertown is a much smaller area in terms of population.

Once upon a time we'd go to Watertown to shop, but nowadays we only stop for gas and maybe a bite to eat there.

Syracuse has so much more to offer.

Apparently the border will open in early November, maybe Nov. 1.

For the fully vaccinated. Not other restrictions AFAIK.
