Formed in December 2008, The Max Cure Foundation is a registered 501 (c)(3) nonprofit corporation focused on conventional and innovative fundraising with a singular purpose
Improving treatments for pediatric cancer patients
Improving quality of life during and post treatment for pediatric cancer patients, their families and their communities

The Foundation’s primary goal is to raise $5 million for the creation of a first of its kind Cell Therapy Laboratory at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC)
Over $1.0 MM has been raised to date
$700,000 has been contributed to The Max Cure Fund at MSKCC, formed by the Plotkin family in June 2007, whose funds are earmarked for the underwriting of the innovative research laboratory
$200,000 has been contributed to other pediatric cancer causes


Web site - Max Cure Foundation - For the past decade Dr. O’Reilly has been researching the use of alternative strategies to fight cancer. The alternative strategy has proven to work in other forms of cancer but he does not have the funds to build a lab and test it for lymphoma as well as other rare cancers. The goal is to raise $5.0 million dollars for this project.
