Everyone must be different. I didn't lose all my hair, it just thinned out a bunch. It came back 3 different colors. Gray, red and blonde and the same texture it was before I lost my hair. I colored it back to natural color which is a light blonde auburn and it's been okay ever since other than few grays popping up.
Mine stayed curley until my hair got about 3 inches long then it went back to straight. It started out almost blonde, but it's very dark now - back to original color.
I still have my chemo curls a year and a half out from chemo. They've stretched out from the head full of Shirley Temple ringlets I had for the first three inches of growth, but there are still a few ringlets mixed in with a lot of tight waves. The first inch or two is much straighter than the rest of my hair, though curls up nicely with some mousse.
My hair was wavy before chemo, but it took a lot more work to get it looking neat. The waves are much more defined all the time now. No color changes, and I think it's less thick than before.
