anyone familiar with somatostatinoma? My mother in law was diagnoised with this at least 2 years ago. she never told the family and now she is in the hospital. we just found out she has been going to the hospital 1 a month for a shot to treat the tumor. the entire family is speechless and have no clue what this disease/illness is about. I goggled it and I am still not fully understanding what is going on. We plan to speak with the oncologist that is treating her but I need info now. The hospital she is in is not the hospital treating her.
