A healthy lifestyle is good and can go a long way in fighting cancer but sadly, avoiding chemicals is impossible. Chemicals are in the soil, the air and the water so there is no way to test the theory that avoiding them would prevent cancer. Making an effort to be healthier is always a plus but too much of what happens is "luck of the draw".
Please, just provide us with the link to the study that proves these claims. You stating it adamantly in a few short sentences isn't going to make a believer out of any of us.
That person hasn't been a member for a couple weeks now. Doubt he'll be able to provide any links at all, now.
It's not about eating "spinach" it's about eating properly, nourishing your body to prevent mutations. Every single type of Cancer can be prevented by diet, not smoking or drinking and entirely avoiding chemicals.
IMO, you have a lot of nerve coming on here and stating something so false. Only a nutcase would agree with you. Everyone has cancer cells in them. Lifestyle, environment, genetics and a lot of luck will prevent them from metastasizing.

This is also patently and offensively false. Everyone doesn't have cancer cells in them. Everyone has the POSSIBILITY for one of their cells to go rogue, "forget" how to stop reproducing, and cause cancer. Unless you actually have cancer, you do not have cancer cells in your body.

True.
"...within each of us, there is constant cancerous activity underway - cells undergo mutations in the body, and begin multiplying uncontrollably. For most of us, most of the time, the immune system identifies these cells and destroys them, but, sometimes, a growth or a cancerous cell manages to beat out the immune system - it is able to hide from the immune system, suppress it, overcome messages it receives telling it to self-destruct, or it simply grows too quickly for the immune system to kill it. These are the growths that become dangerous." Globes English - Good-bye chemotherapy, hello immunotherapy
I am of the belief diet can play a huge part in many illnesses. Good nutrition does help, we all know that.
But who is willing to adhere to a lifetime of nutritional foods? Never succumbing to the fast foods, the alcohol, the awful processed overly marketed crud sold as food today?
Who wants to work at helping their body cure itself from type 2 diabetes when they can buy meds and just chance it?
And a host of others.
I just feel cancer is too big of a money maker for there to ever be positive measures of curing it.
It is big business. Huge profits.

I do agree with some though.... good food with plenty of vegetables and fruit is said to be a preventative to some cancers..
The disease-fighting and detoxifying benefits of the beet have been widely documented
Tumors of the intestines, head, leg, genitals, and rectum
Lung cancer
Prostate cancer
Breast cancer
Leukemia
now Im not saying it works.. I dont know but it cant do any harm can it.. to eat these things like beetroot and other greens in a juicer.. some hospitals give two glasses of beetroot juice a day to patients with certaiin cancers, and coffee is also used for a type of cancer also...
And, for the record, I eat green smoothies with lots of "alkalizing" veggies and superfoods for 2 meals a day in hopes that it will MITIGATE my risk of relapsing. But I still very much could relapse despite a stellar diet.
