I have large cyst on my liver. While getting and ultrasound for it they checked my uterus and said I had a huge fibroid and that my uterus was enlarged. I heard him tell the Dr it was an emergency and she needed to talk to me. She said I need a transvaginal ultrasound. Now I put off all Dr's for 2 years so if it is serious it is all my fault. I thought my large stomach was weight fluctuation but he said it's from my uterus.

have you asked them about just removing the uterus ? yes a partial hysterectomy ? my sister in law had one because she was always getting fibroid tumors and has not had one since they hysterectomy . yes waiting is the hardest and most nerve racking and I will keep you in my prayers .
What did the doctors tell you? Did you ask if those are things that can be cancerous?
How old are you?

Worry changes nothing, so try not to do it. Right now there's no reason to believe you have cancer, just that you have some gynecologic issues that need to be dealt with. And even if you DO have cancer, it's probably at a stage where it's very treatable. Wait and see what the transvaginal ultrasound shows, and don't be too surprised if your doctor wants to do an endometrial biopsy. Once your doctor has a better idea of exactly what's going on, you'll be able to talk with her and decide on the best treatment plan.
The vast majority of uterine fibroids are not cancerous.
Although a gynecologist might want to do an endometrial biopsy, such a biopsy will not find whether a fibroid is cancerous or not. It only tests the uterine lining (endometrium).
I think we all worry about the Big C when anything is even a little unusual. I know it does no good to tell you to relax and not worry. Try to stay busy, have any tests the doctors recommend and remember there is a greater chance it isn't cancer than it is. If it turns out to be cancer, don't think this is a death sentence. there are a heck of a lot of people living that have survived all kinds of cancer. Keep us posted.
The transvaginal ultrasound is not a painful thing. If they do an endometrial biopsy, that can be painful for some people...for me it feels like a sharp poke and a little bit of cramping and that's it. They'll do the endometrial biopsy if your uterine lining is thickened, which they can see on the ultrasound.
I had endometrial hyperplasia...basically there are four stages and the fourth stage is considered the beginning of cancer. I was at the third stage. Taking provera for a couple of months cleared it up. I was scared when I first got the biopsy results, but all of my biopsies since then have been normal, for several years. I also have a fibroid but they're not worried about that being cancerous, they generally aren't.
I guess what worries me is if they said they saw fibroids, why the ultrasound tech say it was an emergency? I read online that they aren't concerning.
