It's a drug, made by a pharmaceutical company, from a plant (like lots of drugs). It's injected, not consumed.
Eating it would not have the same effect.
But it's a berry, so I'm sure it's good for you, but not cure your cancer.
All that aside, it sounds like it is showing
amazing promise in trials.
