I have had really bad headaches and one night it was unbearable so I went to the hospital, (wasn't migraines) I went to a small hospital and had a CT scan that showed a "spot of interest" and so I was then rushed to a larger hospital where I had a MRI, I waited forever for the results and the doctors said they thought it was a stroke (they did not sound sure) I only saw the image once but the doctor pointed out a very large hole on the right side of my brain. I've done my reaserch on strokes and how they present themselves on an MRI and the images I've seen on various websites look nothing like my MRI does anybody have any suggestions??
Make an appointment with your doctor. If you do not have one, get one. This is not a diagnosis you need to make using the internet. Your GP will access the tests from the ER and if indicated send you to a neurologist, who would be the prime medical person to treat either of these types of issues.
And you can always take that MRI result (hospital should provide you with a CD of the images, as wells as the written "results") to a specialist/other doctor for a second opinion. Your medical records are yours, so if they resist providing, stick to your guns about it.
Go see a medical professional, right now. Speaking as a stroke survivor, anything in the brain, is not to be waited to be treated.
