Hi guys and girls

I was trying to get higher liability limits with my present auto insurance Gieco but they will not increase it from 100/300 due to accident

Got Progressive 250/500 liability limits but just wanted to see if anyone has had experience with them

Is Progressive a reliable company do they pay claims without much hassle

Thanks

I believe Geico is larger as they are owned by Berkshire Hathaway, but Progressive is very large as well and have been in existence since 1937. I believe they also have a current rating of A+ by AM Best.

I have heard that Geico will not raise liability limits if you have an accident. They won't drop you, but they are not going to give you more coverage.
