Good morning!
I have a busy day ahead. Need to vacuum, clean litter boxes which is most difficult in the rain but I'll keep my eye open for a break in the rain and run out and get it done. OL has decided she loves the others cats drinking fountain--trouble is she gets all kinds of slobber in it and since I use bottled water in it and it has a filter I sure don't need that but I do have another fountain I had packed away--a different kind but it should work. I just unpacked it and put it all together. Of course I had to take it back apart and clean the pump--ugh--full of water deposits I guess. Anyhow she seems to be happy with it so far..I had one filter left for that one so we'll see how it goes before I order more. They aren't cheap and I really don't need to use them if I'm cleaning it a couple of times a day which I will have to.
Woke up to a mess on DH's desk--my other OL kitty isn't fond of DH and rarely see lets him know--luckily this time she did her deed on a newspaper for the most part. Guess I'll have to put up the cat strips at night to keep her off his desk.

Hi, all. Cyn, I have no idea why cats like to do their "duty" on newspapers. I had one that, every Sunday, when I read the funnies, she'd climb up on them and do her thing.
DH wanted to check out a few yard sales and do a little shopping--I did not but hey, he needs to get out now while he still can so I put everything on hold and off we went. Since my heart was not really in finding things I only did find a few items that are worthwhile but they will at least pay for the gas for a day out!
Got home and our poor Basset Hound was covered with those little black flies--all the rain and puddles and of course he loves sleeping in the mud under the bushes well poor baby--we pulled him out and I gave him a good bath and DH even attempted to brush him--a little anyhow. So at least he is clean now and I put plywood over his muddy holes with 7-dust under the plywood to kill the friggin bugs--whatever they might be! I hate bugs! He seems to be looking better now but I'm considering bathing hims at least weekly now that summer is here. At least with Oatmeal soap it shouldn't dry out his skin and still will kill fleas etc. Still did not get to the litter boxes--ugh--maybe one more day for those. OL is enjoying her water fountain and I cleaned it again---this is going to be a full-time job I can see. I hope God will give me all the energy I will be needing in the future--I can see it is going to be a lot! I am a caregiver for not only my DH but my old critters as well.
