Good morning!
Hoping the weekend will be great for everyone.

Tough day yesterday, it was back to clinic and the sweetpea needed platelets again, and just like last time the blood bank didn't have them so it was a long wait... we were there from 8 to 4.30. We'll go back on Tuesday and hopefully she won't need more blood products- her white and red cell counts were very average and much lower than they were on Tuesday, so she may need a boost in that area too.
Oh, and it was my birthday, and at the end of the day the sweetpea threw a fit because it was not her birthday... She gave us a hard time until she fell asleep around 9.30 ish. Lousy day overall.

Well, she had two end of chemo parties last week, one with the hospital staff and one back home... should be enough!
She's turning into a diva these days. Kids!

If anyone deserves to be a "diva" it's that little one! But I do feel bad your birthday had to be spent that way. Maybe you can do something special today just for you!

I called DH's son this morning and left a message--he just called back. I told him it doesn't appear we will be needing the van now as his father is not at all well and the ALS is progressing fast. He explained that the truck is being detailed and that they want to get the most money for it for me so I can get myself a decent vehicle. I hope he is being honest. I also asked if he would pay for the cost when the time comes for the transportation for his father to be cremated he sounded like it would not be a problem but didn't want to discuss it now. Well Hospice is discussing it with me so I felt I should do the same. I sure don't want to talk about it either! Anyhow they are coming over tomorrow.

Hugs to you cyn. It is so hard to talk about the things that need to be taken care of. I hope you are able to get a little sunshine on your face today

I actually did YL. I finally went out and did some weeding around my roses and cut them back a bit. I was at one time a few weeks ago ready to just pull them all up. The memories of planting them with my DH and enjoying them together was almost more then I could take but for some reason, even with no care or food they have been blooming their little heads off. Guess is is Gods way of sending me a little smile. Besides those roses did not cause the problem so why hurt them? It was just a painful time of memories. Maybe I need to look at the good part/memories of my DH and I with the flowers, critters etc. Working on that.
