To OP. I seem to be misinformed. I just did some looking on the net, and beachmouse is correct. My information came from a vet. What can I say?

Again, I am so happy for you!!! All the very best with the newest addition to you family!

(brevity snipped)

Please again! Promise me you will feed him only meat, raw if you can afford it. My heart is up in my throat about this! WHY WHY WHY are they still neutering kittens at way too young ages!
They do it so they can get them adopted out to make room for more kitties they snatch off death row. I learned he came from a Second Chance Rescue group. Their time was up (him as his brother). I think 7 weeks is too young also but it's better than euthanasia or being adopted out intact. He will get canned meat and some raw meat. Kibble will not be on his menu. I think he's older than 7 weeks. He's just small and puny because of poor care, poor food and parasites.

True. They are. He, unlike my 2 girls, is a real lap cat. And boy oh boy is he a talker! Not only meowing buy making a errrrrrrrr sound when he's playing with the girls, looking for something to do, waiting to be fed, when he's petted........
