Hey everyone, I've been busy keeping this thread going on the dog forum but I'm posting here today to pass the word about a very deserving shelter that could use another click or two from you. You may have heard about Sweetpea Friends of Rutland shelter, outside of Boston. They had a devastating fire a week or two ago, in which dozens of animals lost their lives. Four dogs and two cats were saved, and one of those cats just lost its battle. Some or all of the others are still hospitalized, and one dog is really struggling. Anyway, the Animal Rescue Site has a contest for shelters monthly, with a top prize of $20,000 for a shelter.Sweetpea needs to demolish the building that housed the animals, and rebuild from scratch. It does work if you type in name: Sweetpea & then Mass. as the state. Then vote, & verify w/ the numbers you're asked to type in.
