I am certain that it not unique, but it is funny as all get out to watch.
My long hair cat, when he makes exceptionally good use of the litter box, will come out and race (his run is more like a bounce) around the house calling out his good mood.
Watching from behind is hilarious.
I feel sorry for my other more sedate cat because his behavior usually entails his racing up to her and commencing to beat the snot out of her.
Jonas LOVES to announce that he's now running on empty. I think he's telling me there's now plenty of room for food, so get out the plates!
I also have to admit that I find his face on concentration when he's in the box hilarious. He always sticks his head out and you can see his whiskers flexing...I always feel guilty for cracking up
I haven't seen my cats do this, but my late spouse's late cat sure did. He had two litter boxes, and when he knew he'd be making an extra stinky deposit, he'd use the one in the basement. He'd go trotting down the stairs with a determined look on his face, and come back upstairs looking all relaxed and relieved. Then the smell would follow him up the stairs, and the spouse would go down to clean up the mess.

I'm not sure who was better trained, the cat or the husband! It's certainly a happy image to remember them by.
