aww, thanks you guys.. We sure do miss him. He can be such a little trouble making little boogie but when he isn't here it doesn't fee right. I know every night he hops onto the bed waiting for us and hangs around for a while, leaves and go loves KK, (or attacks him) and comes back to settle in.

Hoping he will be just fine in the morning when we go to pick him up.

As tough as it is to do it, this really makes a nicer pet out of them. For males, no more spraying, and for females, no more going crazy when in heat. The week before we had Daisy fixed she was going crazy and meowing every few seconds. Now she is much calmer and she came out of it fine.

Good luck with Charlie.......if he is still speaking to you tomorrow.

Don

Poor Charlie! Oozing and swelling after surgery is never a good thing.

I'm sure he'll be OK -- he's in good hands. And Checkers sends his empathy.

Whenever we had one of ours at the vet for the 'operation', I would always go through the same thing you are... worrying & missing them terribly and thinking they were sad and lonely not being at home with us. My wife would roll her eyes and remind me that in all probability they were sleeping off the anesthetic & unaware of much anyway. Didn't help me much though.
I'm sure Charlie will be fine tomorrow. Please keep us posted.

You may have to try to supervise his play with Kitty Katty, but I am sure all will be well. I know how anxious you must be to have him home!

You know, I had missed this entire thread (I got your message earlier and responded) and I'm sure you ALL will be glad this is over with. Boys fare so much easier than girls do, least all mine have. The boys "operations" look worse but they are up and about much sooner than girls are. We just had Mabel spayed about 2 weeks ago and she is getting her stitches out this Tuesday. She hasn't really bothered her belly much and she even let me have a look at it - but NO TOUCHING (per her!!). I hate to tell you this Pik, but neutered boys will also spray as will spayed girls. Ask me how I know!!!!! I will be looking forward to good news from you on Saturday - hoping Charlie comes home and is back to being his ornery and loving, handsome self!!!

Looking forward to some Halloween pics of black cats and pumpkins.
Meanwhile, at Bob and Helen’s Annual Halloween Kitten-Tasting Party…
