Amazing! Cats that like water that much are pretty rare. Some of my guys like to drink from the faucet, but that's about as close as they'll get to the wet stuff. Probably a good thing, otherwise I'd have a cat in the shower with me... and I sure don't need that.

Not really all that rare is some breeds of cat. And yes, I had a Maine Coon cross that would get in the shower with me almost daily. She once fell in the bathtub...and after an initial panic...started swimming around, but she didn't jump in the tub much.

Mine used to play my toes when I was in the bath. I would submerge my toes and she would stick her paw in to get it-down to her shoulder. And I take pretty hot baths but it didn't phase her-until she fell in. But she still played "Catch the toes" after that happened. She stopped doing it-I think because she is getting older. She is now 7.

She also used to jump into the tub after I got out of the shower because it was nice and wet.

What she used to do which cracked me up (and I'm sorry I don't have a video of it) was she used to wash her toy mice in her water dish. Here she is cleaning it.

It was funny one time when it was under the bowl and she was trying to get it THROUGH the bowl.

Orion used to put one of his toys in his water dish and Joe likes to put his paw in it all the way up to his elbow. Before we moved here he used to be able to go with me when I walked the dog and he didn't mind if it was raining as long as it wasn't coming down too hard, the dog however is another story she HATES water except in her bowl. Sometimes I think they have some role confusion going on
