When I had indoor/outdoor cats it used to drive me crazy how they were in/out, in/out all day long. I was a basically their doorman. Imagine if you had a cat trained to use a door bell like this? It would never end.....

hahahah, that would be terrible.

I bet that thing was destroyed within a week.. after he realized the cat would walk up to the door, ring the doorbell and just stare him in the eye and not move.

I can totally see myself doing that... trying to do something nice for my cats while not thinking it through completely, and suffering the unintended consequences later. I could probably make up a rather long list of failed 'good ideas' that I've had in the past.
