so sorry to hear that.

Perhaps it was his choice to keep you from having to make an impossible decision. Think of it as his final act of love to you. The greatest gift he could give during this trying and heart breaking time.

So sorry he had to leave you. My heart cries along with yours. wish it could have turned out differently for him.

Run free at the Bridge, Chipper.

My heart goes out to you as well.
Peace be with you.

Oh I'm so very sorry. There have been several heartbreaking stories on this forum lately.

Rest in peace, Chipper, and run free. . .

Yes, and I'm reminded that all my girls are seniors.... something which I try not to dwell on. Here's wishing for a moratorium on any more furkids going to the Bridge for a while.

Our fur buddies become so attached to us human's and depending on your perspective..I'm pretty sure "CHIPPER" has crossed that raibow bridge and is now free of pain..and will be on the other side awaiting reunion....

Many folks poo-poo our animal connections..But there's some truly special IMO when we become so connected with them ( no different than HUMAN family)..SO I wish you all the best and please remember..Chipper's memory will stick like glue in your heart forever more!!

God Speed Chipper..Fly with those fur buddy angels awaiting reunion!!

Oh SouthernBelle, I am so so sorry about the loss of your beloved Chipper, especially at such a young age.

Do you have some pictures of him you could share?

hugs to you,
Karen
