Got a case of Blue Buffalo Wilderness wet cat food (in cans) and my cat actually likes it. Their ad on Amazon includes the statement that is the next best thing to raw? Ordered the case that is mixed, six each of salmon, duck, chicken and turkey.

The Blue is $34.60 for 24 cans versus $18.25 for FF, so it's twice as expensive.

Is this stuff safe, anyone know?

If your choice is between BB or dry... I would feed the BB wet.

Personally I think it is over priced, considering the ingredients list. There are cheaper brands with the same or better ingredients.

"Natural Flavor" is a mystery ingredient. I don't trust a company that won't tell me what their "natural flavor" really is.
I'm also not a fan of carrageenan.
Potatoes... cats don't naturally eat potatoes. Besides, they don't need the starch. Maybe if potato was farther down the ingredients list, I would get less "worked up" about it.

When I fed canned I fed a variety, because some ingredients I was okay with and some I wasn't... but the cats needed to eat something... and the worst wet was still better than the best dry.

Well, he really likes it and sleeps all morning like the contented baby he is.

Calculate by per ounce, not by cans. You might have overpaid more than half for those bb cans. They love to sell them in 3 ounces cans charging an arm and a leg for them.

I tried those with my cat. He doesn't care for it. It's safe but so is another cheaper, good quality canned food like Chicken Soup for the Cat Lover Soul. Sheba is very affordable and the ingredients are average.

Fyi, if it's not raw, it's not raw. Blue sells that image as the next best thing but they really are no different than the more affordable, good quality canned food. Look into Wellness Core

Welp, he loved it for two days. Third day, barely ate all of it and today, ended up throwing it up.

You gave him the same thing four days in a row? I'd throw up too

The trick is to feed a variety of brands and proteins.

Especially when adding a new food, you don't want to feed it too much all at once. Introduce new foods gradually, until you have a nice wide variety in the rotation.
