I'm very surprised because when my son in law set up my cat wheel I thought it would take a while to train Keanu. She learned it in about ten minutes. I used a toy at first and some treats. When I can I'll ask my daughter to put it up on you tube so I can show you how fast she is. She still is clumsy and sometimes runs off it sideways. It's very safe though and stops immediately so she never gets hurt. There is a pic on my profile of her looking for her new toy while on her wheel. (robotic hex toy suggested by someone on this forum. she also likes to use it as a bed at times. So I'm very happy I got this wheel and would suggest it for anyone getting kittens. I don't know how easy training adult cats is. If anyone has trained older cats I'd like to hear how it went.
