Oh, this is so wonderful. Look at him. He needed that time to trust a human again.

Oh Catdad, what a fantastic story. That kitty is proof that having animals in our lives is SO good for us -- his human got lucky too!

He's been waiting for her.

A lot of cats go missing when their owners move out.....until the next one comes in.
Only when owners leave them behind. I will never understand how anyone could do that, but it apparently happens a lot.

Love the story and especially the pictures. There's one of him doing his best vampire impression! We had one black one that used to have long front teeth who used to make that expression. His name was Bunny but daughter called him "Bunnicula."

The early pictures with his ears back and the slight frown made me laugh. It's like a deep-in-thought look. I see it on mine sometimes when something isn't exactly right. "What is that human doing with that thing she holds up to her face?"

My kitty has a large round basket I (actually) keep on my dining room table. The other day I was working on a project and moved it but when I put it back I didn't get it in "the right place."

When she got into the basket she sat there with that look on her face until I figured out what the issue was and readjusted it to her spot.

Like Buddy, they'll get just as spoiled as you allow them to be. LOL

Slight correction.... they'll get as spoiled as much as they require.

Oh, true. Allowing has nothing to do with it.
