Next question?

And sometimes those busy thoughts don't make sense Reminds me of this other odd play behavior. She has a white mouse she likes to bat around too. Her favorite game is it'll be on one side of the door against the bottom. She'll lay down on the opposite side and put her paws underneath the door to try and get it. When she doesn't hit it, she gets up, walks back around, sees where it is and go back to the other side, lay down and try and reach it from the side she can't see it. I have to try and get a video of this for you guys.

About a month ago my wife got fed up with the cat climbing on her night stand and decided to give him two warnings, and the third time put him out of the bedroom. I think DamnedCat has only made it through the night once since then. Incidentally, the two warnings and the boot always come within 5 minutes of each other... at most. It's usually between midnight and 2 a.m.

So a couple nights ago I was awake when DC got the boot. I can tell you exactly what the cat was thinking, because he said it: "NoooooooooooooooooMommieeeeeeeNoooooooooooooooooo ." Then he cried for a few minutes and went to sleep.

I mentioned it to my wife in the morning. I was a little surprised by him, because he normally calls her "Momma." DamnedCat is very stubborn but not so very smart, however he does speak English fairly well.

Electra spoke English once. We were putting the Christmas decorations up in the attic. With the attic door open, Electra thought it would be a good time to explore. I grabbed her while she was on the stairs and put her down in the hallway and closed the door to the attic. She let out this big, "WWWWWHHHHHHYYYYYYY?" So, I answered her, "Because I said so!" Hubby was right there and he heard her say, "Why?" also.
