Best kitty litter for dust and odor control? (kitten, feline, smelling)

I have tried just about every litter I can find so far. But I have yet to find one that satisfies me. I must share a bathroom with 3 beautiful kitties (pics attached) and I need a litter that allows me to control odor and dust adequately. I find that clay based clumping litters are bad for dust. Freshstep Crystals is good for dust, but not good for urine odor. I also tried Pine Litter, which was good for urine odor and dust, but bad for the other odor. Is there anything I don't know about?
I don't know if you've tried this yet, but I've been through many different brands, all of which I was very sensitive to causing sneezing and even difficulty breathing. This is by far the best I've tried and is all I am able to use now.
I am using Arm and Hammer right now as I am trying to sell my house and I found it to have the best odor control. You might not find one litter to do everything. It has decent dust control. Good luck!
I vote for Arm and Hammer too. Best odor control, and minimal dust.....Tidy Cats was WORST for dust in this house! It had decent odor control, but no where near as good as A&H.
We use Yesterday's News (recycled newspaper), which I love, and we're also now using Swheat Scoop, for the new kitten, who is used to clumping litter. I really like Swheat Scoop. It's a litter made out of wheat. There's no chemical fragrance, and it controls odor great! There's no dust either. I don't like dust or fragrance, so both of these litters are what we use. The Yesterday's News does track--I find the small pellets all over the place. The wheat litter doesn't seem like it tracks at all.
Over the years, I think I've tried every brand known to man! I hate the dusty stuff, and even worse, the tracking of the litter all over the floor.
Tidy Cats just came out with a new combo box called "Breeze" It uses hard little pellets...NO dust and NO tracking! The box has a drawer that slides out and the idea is the urine seeps thru the pellets and onto a pad (much like the thick hospital pads) in the tray. I started the transition a few weeks ago and so far so good. At first the cats were hesitant to step onto the pellets...but once one used the box...all the other cats followed. Directions say to change the pad once a week...I guess that would depend how often and how many cats are using it. They say add more pellets as needed. I am a fanatic about the odors coming from the litter box...and I can honestly say, I'm smelling nothing!!!!!
I will add...the kit comes with the box, a scoop, a pkg of pads, a 1 pkg of pellets. I bought extra pellets and put 2 pkgs in the box...just didn't think 1 was sufficient. For my 5 (yes five) I now have 2 of these Breeze boxes and 2 of the LitterMaids. The Breeze boxes are being used just as often as the LitterMaids, so I think they are a success!
OMG, I just tried yet another kitty litter and I ended up throwing it out because of the bad odor from the litter itself! I have tried all liters suggested above (and a few more), but I am still not satisfied. I guess the perfect litter just doesn't exist yet. :-(
well my litter is tidy cat but I also have the auto. cat box that scoops it for you after they get out....it is expensive, but so worth it from walmart
The dusty stuff was killing us, so I tried Feline Pine clumping and liked it. I don't think it controls odor that great, but our cats aren't very good about covering things up either, so I can't say if it would control odors in cats that do better jobs at burying it.
I also use Swheat Scoop and like it a lot. Right now we're using both litters together because Feline Pine is inexpensive and Swheat Scoop clumps better but if it works better at odor control I'd definitely use Swheat Scoop alone.
But stay away from those dusty litters! They are poison for you and your cats and really help make your home a "sick house."

Have you tried the Breeze pellets and box? They are too hard to absorb the urine.
