Love it! Looks like Willow is saying, "Are you drunk? That was crazy! Lemme smell your breath". Beau is saying, "No, I'm not drunk, why you ask?" Willow, "Okay, but don't do that again, my house, my rules ... you heard me didnt you?" Beau, "I heard you, I'm not drunk ... what's "drunk" mean Willow?"

Wish mine got along that well. My 13 lb cat is intent on letting my 41 lb puppy know he is the boss in the house. He growls at him in that way that only housecats can growl. When given the opportunity to escape to our room/his room, he stands his ground and hisses (when the kids are too much for him he goes straight to our room - he refuses to back down with the puppy). The puppy is scared of him, but wants to play with him at the same time.

I'm glad yours are getting along so well.

BTW I love your flooring. I fantasized about replacing the berber carpet in our family room of our old house with that dark color wood flooring.
Its rather comical.

My sympathies about your kitty. My old cat Pounce was like that. Every new puppy was a trial for her, and when Willow came into our lives, that was almost the final straw (but by then she was 19 and only lasted one more year.)

Lisdol, maybe the flooring looks nice in the photo but if it had been up to me, that dark wood is probably the LAST choice I'd make! Every little speck of animal hair shows up, and our adult dog has scratched it up real good.
I fantasize about changing it to a lighter wood, but that will never happen unless we win the lottery. We just have a lot of rugs scattered around.

I have no idea why I said its rather comical at the end there. Maybe I had too much coffee? I think I meant to have it up in the paragraph about the cat and dog.

I KWYM about the flooring. My friend has a medium color and it drives her nuts. We have light colored laminate which is so boring, but it seems to hide dirt pretty well.
