Today I tried my best to get a picture of Cookie with her tail up and fanned out, because I am so in awe of her tail! It is just so huge! She is this tiny, 7 pound cat and she has a tail that is so fluffy and so big, I think one day I will see her actually floating in the air!! LOL
Cookie is gorgeous and the healthiest I have ever seen her! Since she has been coming in at night here in our home, she is not only safe and free of the elements of Nature, but she has been eating the best she has in years. And it shows! Yes, she is a predator, but now that I am supplementing her diet with quality canned food (she refuses to eat the raw diet ), she has blossomed, especially her tail.
Don't tell her I posted her pictures on here. She would be so upset! Humans are NOT allowed to see her, except for me, my husband, the farmer next to me and his wife. That's it. So, consider yourselves privileged, for this is truly a Royal Barn Cat. And I say that with much respect and honor.
I love her so darn much, that it really is difficult for me to allow her to go outside everyday, but she is a freedom lover and must go outside. She is free and wild, and that is the only way I will have it. So, enjoy these exceptional pictures of her and know she normally will NOT allow me to take her picture at all, much less look right into the lens.
These are truly rare pictures. And notice how large her paws are compared to the rest of her....

She's SO beautiful. I just LOVE longhaired cats. I also have a soft spot for black and white ones, coz we used to feed a stray that was longhaired with black and white markings
