Honestly, Bieber wouldn't be so popular if he didn't have talent; plain and simple.
Janelle Monae and Bieber can both be good music in the reality we live in, fortunately.

The only reason he is so popular is because of teenage girls who think with their hormones, not their brains. Plain and simple. Just shows what a farce the AMA's have become.
I think he's a cute young guy who obviously has lots of fans. He's a clean, decent and respectful kid. I don't understand why some people make fun of him or dislike him. There are certainly a lot of complete loser personalities in the celebrity world....but he sure doesnt' seem to be one of them.
These awards shows have always been about the popularity - there is absolutely no substance to the awards. It's like a sponge - get the kids consuming.
I like him. I think he is talented and he behaves himself. He seems to be a nice person and he reminds me of Donny Osmond in his early days. Donny has turned out okay.
