Not handsome in the conventional sense IMO, but in the all-around Mensch category, Mr. Poitier checks all the boxes. A flight attendant friend of mine kept company with him on a NYC-LA flight once. She simply paid her respects; he, in turn, asked her to sit and converse with him. She said he was mesmerizing; all she would have wanted and more. She walked away with a total love buzz and talks about it to this day.

I didn’t mean it in an ageist way. Sterling isn’t that young and is in the same age group (40s) as some of the other men on that list. I just think that a select few black actors always get recognized as if they’re the only ones who exist.
Sure he is. He was in the Hunger Games franchise, Precious, and a few other films.

I only saw The Hunger Games when it first came out and forgot and never saw the others.
