Don Kirshner who launched the career of The Monkees has passed. He is best known as the man who brought us the television show: "Don Kirshner's Rock Concert" with live performances by such groups as: Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones, Elton John, Pink Floyd, Aerosmith, The Eagles and many more. The show ran from 1973 to 1982; may he rest in peace.
