Um, I feel smarmy and yucky at having seen the LITTLE GIRL from Modern Family in that dress tonight at the Emmys. Like I'm some pervert or something. Awkward. She's only 13. And she was in THAT dress???!! OMG. There's NO way in hell I'd let my 11 year old wear that in 2 years. I don't understand why parents think it's ok to let their kids grow up before it's time.

It wasn't' THAT bad IMO. A little grown up for a 13 yo, but could have been worse.

I guess it's just b/c I would never allow my daughter to look like a grown up - there are too many weirdos out there and there's no need to make it easy for them (imo).

I think the dress is gorgeous and she looks awesome in it! they try to "ugly" her up so much on the show to make her the awkward, smart one, when in real life, I think she's much prettier than the girl that plays Hayley. looking as some of the midriff bearing, skimpy Halloween costumes geared towards preschoolers I've been seeing lately, this is nothing.

At 14, she'd be in high school and possibly going to the prom. I don't think this dress is much, if at all worse than some prom dresses out there.

I don't think it's that bad .... although I could live without the chest box on young girls who are still going through puberty..........

Too young for revealing clothes. She looks like an 11-year-old with Mommie's makeup and a pushup bra.
